Tu-tu-tu-tu, tu-tu-tu-tu-tu…
Man. That song is really QUITE the ear-worm (if I made the song play in your head I’m sorry).
Hope you’ve wrapped up your BFCM FINAL, LAST MINUTE, REALLY LAST ONE sale nicely 😉
Miles here, with our fifth edition on holiday sales, raking in that final bit of cha-ching, and clearing stock as the year draws to a close.
Pop-Ups
BFCM’s out the way, but that doesn’t mean we default back to our regular pop-ups. On the contrary, it’s time to kick things up a notch, and bring in the festive cheer (some examples below).

Segments
It’s time to put your new subscribers (you gained over BFCM) to work. If you’re using Klaviyo for both email & SMS, create the two following segments - one for each channel:
NEW BFCM Subscribers
1) If someone subscribed to a list in the last 14 - 30 days AND
2) Did not place an order in the last 14 - 30 days
# of days depends on how long your BFCM sale was.
You want to continue sending holiday deals with copy geared to make them feel like it’s their chance to get holiday deals they missed out on during BFCM. Some ideas include a new bundle, opportunity to sign up for a limited run product launch, the chance to enter a raffle for a grand price if they purchase $X.etc

NEW BFCM Customers
Similarly, you wanna work some magic on your new customers who purchased from you, to retain their loyalty over time and bump their LTV.
1) Is in Main List, AND
2) Placed order at least once AND
3) Placed order zero times before date MM/DD/YYYY (this year)
Thank them for purchasing during BFCM, and offer them something that can get them to make a 2nd purchase before the holidays are over.

Holiday Ideas - Email
Flash sales to get rid of excess stock from BFCM
12 days of deals (with a spread across different products)
Leverage FOMO and highlight bestsellers during BFCM to non-buyers
If you did blanket discounting during BFCM, try out bundles/tiered discounting to increase AOV

Holiday Ideas - SMS
Post purchase shipping automations (esp after BFCM)
Holiday countdown
Alerts on when the last day is to order their product to come in time for Christmas

And that’s a wrap!
It really is the busiest and most stressful period of the year, but also the most fulfilling one. Keep your energy up! And sending good vibes whilst you prep for that final Christmas push :)
